New Individual and Group Meditation Sessions in Mortain
A gentle space to slow down, unwind, and reconnect.
Held twice weekly at HeartSong Normandie, these guided meditation sessions are open to beginners and anyone looking for a calm, supportive approach to mindfulness and relaxation.
Many people feel they “can’t meditate” because their mind is too busy. Meditation is not about stopping thoughts - it’s about learning to notice them with more awareness, kindness, and ease.

Sessions may include:
Guided breathing practices to help settle the mind
Body scan relaxation to release tension
Simple mindfulness techniques to ease mental noise
A gentle and compassionate approach to meditation
There is nothing to achieve or fix - just space to pause, soften, and reconnect with yourself.
These sessions also offer simple practices you can take into everyday life at home. Many people find meditation easier in a group setting, supported by a calm and welcoming shared space.
After each session, you are welcome to stay for tea and coffee - a chance to chat, reflect, or simply enjoy a quiet moment.
Ema has spent over 20 years working with people in therapeutic, retreat, and community settings, supporting relaxation, emotional wellbeing, and personal reconnection.
Her approach is rooted in mindfulness, compassion, and nervous system awareness - with a focus on creating spaces where people can slow down, feel safe, and reconnect with themselves in a steady and supportive way.
She brings together a wide range of training and practice, including meditation teaching, Yoga Nidra, qigong, Yin Yoga, sound therapy, and Reiki. She also holds an MA in Group and Intercultural Psychotherapy and studied Music (BMus) at Goldsmiths, University of London.
Alongside her professional work, Ema maintains a daily personal practice that includes meditation, mindfulness, mantra, yoga, and loving-kindness practice. This ongoing practice is at the heart of how she works - grounded, simple, and present.
Her intention is to offer sessions that are calm, accessible, and genuinely welcoming - a space where nothing is required of you except to arrive as you are.
